About the event

The Awards aim to celebrate the achievements of outstanding and success of African businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals in the UK, recognise growth within the vast number of businesses and individuals. Being presented to the most successful private companies, entrepreneurs, businesses and community leaders, the Awards gives nominees the chance to show case and tell their success story to the global audience, regardless of size or industry. The first on its kinds, the events will involve a variety of activities including Awards ceremony, exhibition, networking, cultural dances and gala dinner.

Hosted by SSCG, the Awards is based on a composite score from equally-weighted measures of excellence in entrepreneurship, leadership, business innovation, professional and enterprise growth, market value, cultural creativity and citizen engagement. Application or submission for Awards nomination selection is an opportunity to celebrate your or colleague success story with the global audience. If you feel you have made exceptional achievement or knows someone who have striven to excellence in their business or professional activities, please submit a nomination for consideration by the Judge. Volunteer to be a Judge

We wish to invite exceptional business and community leaders in their own field to apply to join our selection panel for the Award. If selected to be a Judge, you'll be assigned categories based on your experience and industry to review nominees. We will provide scoring materials and criteria for consideration and guidelines which can be completed and reviewed remotely. Benefits for joining SSCG as Judge Panel include and not limited to: Complimentary ticket to access and attend the Award, acknowledged on the respective award websites and related marketing materials. Opportunity to inspire like-minded and young upcoming leaders and professionals in the industry.

Participate by hosting a table

Reservations will be available for tables of ten people. Numbers are strictly limited and reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis.

Advertising and exhibition

We are offering opportunities for companies to advertise their products and services in the Awards brochure or exhibit at networking area. The event brochure is available on the night and contains details of all the nominees, the programme, the running order and the menu and profile of corporate sponsors which will be distributed to all delegates.


We have various sponsorship packages for companies seeking to enhance their brand and products awareness, including sponsorship of an individual award, sponsorship of the official drinks reception, the menu and branded materials. Sponsorship opportunities are, by their very nature, limited. Costs and availability on request.
