Eugene Nizeyimana is an accomplished entrepreneurial engineer, business leader and international management consultant with +20yrs experience and a track record in delivering multi-channelled capabilities and solutions across a broad range of clients in +15 global markets and industries ranging from Professional Services, Management Consulting, Oil and Gas (E&P), Technology, Manufacturing and Automotive Sectors. He is the Managing Partner of SSCG Consulting and CEO, African Business Chamber (AfBC). He sit on the boards and is a Business Advisory Panel at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) and Birmingham City Business SChool (BCBS). He has served in various capacities and has held a wide range of responsibilities from both the private and public sectors including many International Oil Companies (IOC), Innovate UK, Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), GTC Energy, NHS Institute of Innovation and automotive OEMs such as Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, Caterpillar, Alexander Dennis etc.

Management Consulting –  Experience of working in an advisory capacity on business strategy and development, business intelligence (BI) and analysis, business models, Business Process Management (BPM)  and management systems (BMS), change management, products/services/processes/market development, risk management and continuity, innovation management, new market growth and trade in service using tools including Gap Analysis, McKinsey 7S,TOM, SWOT, PESTEL, Benchmarking, Value Chain (Porter's), Porter's 5 Forces, Ansoff Matrix, Business Model Canvas and Capability Maturity Model 

Engineering Management – Extensive experience in Automotive, vehicle engineering, energy, innovation and manufacturing industries. Possess knowledge and technical skills in System Engineering (SE & MBSE), Design and systems thinking, automotive product lifecycle management, New Products Development (NPD), Introduction (NPI) and aftermarket; Automotive Quality (IATF16949), Vehicle Warranty (IQM, AWS, J.D Power); Powertrains and Body systems, IC Engines, Vehicle Electrification (BEV), Autonomous, Connected, Electric Shared (ACES) systems, Connected technologies (V2G, ADAS, HMI, Telematics), Battery Technologies and manufacturing, Supply Chain Management (ASPICE), vehicle manufacturing, machining, additive and intelligence manufacturing.  

Projects and Programmes Management (PPM) –  A Certified APM Project manager with experience in coordination and delivery of complex projects/programmes portfolio using best practices and methodologies including PMO, PMP, Ms Projects, Agile and SCRUM methodologies. 

Technology and Digital - Proficient and knowledge in software engineering (DevOps) projects management; deployment of Smart Connected Technologies, digital transformation and risk management. Experience using software / applications (e.g., Ms 365, Teams, SAP ERP systems, Tableau, Power BI, Teamcenter, LMS, IMS, Salesforce, i-PLM,). Awareness of key emerging technologies, environments and trends including SDLC, Smart Mobility and cities, connected factory, IoT, AI, ML and Industry 4.0 solutions. 

Business Process Management (BPM) and Systems – Experience in business model and process innovation, design, optimisation, and improvement using Waterfall, Iterative, Synchronize-and-stabilise, build, and fix approaches, Process FMEA e.g, SIPOC, PCDS, CCDS, BCDS and Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM)

Quality Engineering and Standards – A certified IATF16949 Quality process auditor and product quality management with a focus on Customer First outputs, UX and managing risks. Proficient in 7 quality principles, ISO9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 56000 (Innovation management), ISO/SAE 21434 (Automotive Cybersecurity Standards), ISO26262 (Road vehicles electrical and electronic systems safety), ISO 31000 (Risk management), ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management), Lean Six Sigma, Toyota Productions System (TPS), TQM, EBER, RMDV, DVP&R, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, DMAIC, KAIZEN, PDCA Cycle, 8D, 5 Whys, Pareto analysis and Lean Management principles

Supply Chain and Sustainability –  Possess knowledge and working experience on projects involving circular economy (CE),  "R" models/strategy, Low carbon emission, Renewable energy and efficiency, ESG, environmental impact and waste reduction, and green business management. 

Eugene graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Beng in Automotive Engineering, PG Cert in Management from University of London and PG Cert Public Management from University of Birmingham. He has received professional certification and completed management programmes in diverse topics from Said Business School, University of Oxford, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford, World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Crown Commercial Service (CCS), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), KPMG, EY, Deloitte, PWC, International Organization for Standardization (ISO), IATF/SMMT Industry Forum and Association of Project Management (APM).

Eugene has launched many successful ventures and initiatives, lead various entrepreneurship programmes both in the UK and Africa to accelerate start-ups and SME growth, advised C-Suite leaders and founders of many start-ups/Mid Cap companies and managing cross car line vehicle programmes. He serves as a mentor for Africa Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC) Bloomberg programme at The Centre for Global Enterprise (CGE) NY, US. A former mentor for The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), The BSEEN programme at Aston University. He is a member of Mckinsey Automotive and Assembly and Institute of Directors (IOD).
